DEVOTION PENTACLE — with Irisanya & Riyana

This is an experimental class focused on connecting to the deep self, sometimes known as the star self, the sacred dove, the god/dess self, and by many other names— through the Pentacle of Devotion, inspired by a tool developed by Valerie Walker, aka VeeDub.

Respectfully, we will explore and play with this tool by moving through the pentacle points: Devotion -- Truth -- Radiance -- Grace -- Blessing

But what does it mean to practice devotion? Devotion to who, what, and how? In this class, we will move inward and outward in our practices, exploring how devotion to self opens us to more powerful ways of working magic in the world, and how devotion to mystery, deity, and nature brings us into deeper intimacy and love with ourselves. It’s a practice of returning home to ourselves, finding ways to be our own blessings, and refilling our cups so we can offer more to the world.

This is not bubble baths or buying something to make things feel better. Returning to oneself takes courage and commitment. It's an act of devotion to what is true and real and vital to our lifeforce, in a way that brings deeper presence and more opportunity to experience the Mysteries.

This class will include trance work, writing, poetry, spells, movement, and deep silence in an intimate container.

This work is experiential and immersive, grounded in magick.

We hope to offer space to renew, reconnect, and reflect on what brings us back to life.

Where: In the comfort of your own home, via Zoom. Classes will not be recorded, and absolutely no AI transcription / note-taking will be allowed.

When: Six Friday evenings starting at 5:30 PM PST / 7:30 PM CST / 8:30 PM EST / 11:30 AM Saturdays, Brisbane time...

Riyana (she/her) is a plantwitch, writer, and deep lover of the earth and all of her children– her world revolves around a constellation of mystical magic-making, gardening, motherhood, writing, and finding ways to deepen into living authentically with the seasons and the cycles of the earth. She has worked with Reclaiming for over twenty years and finds herself drawn again and again to magic that focuses on devotional, experiential, direct connection to the divine, such as aspecting, oracle work, sacred sound, and embodiment.

Irisanya Moon (she/they) is an author of 10+ books, Witch, priestess, international teacher, and initiate in the Reclaiming tradition. A devotee of Aphrodite, Hecate, the Norns, and Iris, she has practiced magick for 20+ years. They are passionate about the idea that life is and humans are love spells, ever experiencing a dance of desire and connection, moving in and out of the heart, always returning to love. Her teaching/facilitation style is immersive, gracious, safe, authentic, and welcoming to inspire transformation and liberation individually and collectively.

Prerequisite: Elements of Magick or comparable experience -- although this class is particularly great for folks who already have experience in Iron Pentacle and Pearl Pentacle as well.
