Writing (and Resourcing) Between the Worlds

Writing (and Resourcing) Between the Worlds

“Joy is sometimes a blessing, but it is often a conquest.” ― Paulo Coelho

With the world being as it is right now, it can be hard to find a place of solace. The news and social media seek to grab our attention, hold it, and keep it focused on things that can activate our nervous systems.

We might feel stuck or suspended in this moment. Maybe we’re frozen, maybe we dissociate, maybe we keep ourselves so busy we can’t think too much.

But this might also be an opportunity, a moment to explore and expand.

Perhaps we are between states of experience. Between what was and what is to come. There is a tension here. And there is an opportunity to resource ourselves, to remind ourselves of our wise minds.

How can we return to the present moment?
How can we hold multiple experiences?
How can we find joy here too?

In sacred space, we will journey, write, and share what arrives. No homework. No feedback. Just writing between the worlds. For what happens between the worlds changes and impacts all the worlds.

Your Guides on the Journey:

Irisanya Moon (she/they) (www.irisanyamoon.com) I currently live on the unceded land of the Southern Pomo, Wappo, and Coast Miwok peoples, now known as Santa Rosa, California, USA. I honor that stories are spells and our bodies hold the heartbeat of transformation. I have written books and blogs on magick and resilience, holding storytelling as an act of resistance. We do not do this work alone.

Marie Maccagno (she/her) (https://mariemaccagno.com/) I live on unceded territory of the K’omoks Nation, on Vancouver Island, Canada. My life’s work is supporting others to tell the truth of their lives. I believe that healing and transformation happens when we write and share together within sacred space.
